Start packing!
Personally, I think the benefits might be skewed a bit given the rats didn’t have the hassles that come with packing.
It was all quite ah-mazing, really, at least according to the lab rats in Ohio.
No, they didn’t really get to pack their bags and leave the maze, but after three weeks of restraint-induced stress (no maze and plenty of sugar to sweeten the deal), significant shrinkage was noted in dendrites in the prefrontal cortex of the brain. Body fat was an altogether different issue.
The guys were especially excited, given the usual obsession with shrinkage.
Apparently swollen dendrites have been shown to impair performance when it comes to tasks requiring one’s attention. Ah, yes! Sounds familiar.
So there you have it!
Start packing!
And for encouragement, a few thought provoking chuckles.
