No, Jimmy and I did not adopt cute little puppies; at least not while we’re doing so much traveling. But these two puppies are still very cute; newlyweds usually are.
Yes, Jimmy and I have adopted newlyweds, as in a January wedding followed by a romantic Hawaiian honeymoon followed by a new job opportunity requiring training in the Chicago area for the months of June, July, and August newlyweds. Awesome for Jimmy and me; it’s been lonely in this big house since Jenny and Thomas and the grandkids moved out last December. If memory serves me, it’s not so awesome for the newlyweds with two old farts to crimp their style. Style is very important, don’t you think?!
Jimmy and I have a handful of trips planned this summer though that should allow my nephew, Daryl ,and his new bride, Jacky, some time to play house all on their own during our absences. I can’t stress the importance of foreplay (oops, I mean play. PLAY! What was I thinking!?) in a marriage, old or new. All work and no play makes for a rather dull marriage.
No dull FUN FOTOS today either.
