FUN FOTO FRIDAY:  OUTTAKES FOR THE WEEK 4/8/13

4/12/2013

It’s amazing how many places you can go sitting home for a week in recovery mode.

My trip started in Convenience, a place more trouble than it’s worth when making a visit.  Don’t know that I want to go back there any time soon.

I spent the next two days in Capacitated, but left with nothing good to say about this dreary destination aside from painfully boooring!

I tried to allow myself the pleasure of time spent in Dulgence, but alas, I wasn’t really in the mood for pampering, at least not at these prices.  Jimmy assured me we could  afford a short stay, but in my book, timing is a big chapter.

There wasn’t much to do in Somnia but walk up and down the empty streets of this deserted town.  Who would choose to spend time in a place that leaves you so cranky when you’re  already sick and tired?

I spent a lot of time in Dignation too, impatient and angry about destinations that seemed neither fair nor just.   Jimmy had the unmitigated gall to get impatient with me when I’m the one doing all the suffering.

Suffice it to say, the week in Sufferable was another dandy destination for both of us.

I’m so looking forward to being in Spirational next week.

For this week from hell, I do still have some Fun Fotos.  You'll enjoy being in Credible, a place where everyone is unbelievably funny and clever.

You've made a miserable week sound like a travel log. Great job! Does that sound like I've been talking with a 6 year old for 10 days?

Six-year-olds are often wonderful to talk to; they're fonts of wisdom still completely enamored of their grandparents. Grandparents in turn have the good fortune of having the best of both worlds - all the fun and none of the responsibility that comes with those beautiful, little blessings. But, yes; they can ask a lot of questions that leave us exhausted. And all that energy! Oh, to have some of that energy.

Clever blog for a sicky.

My body may be falling apart, but my mind is still all there. At least for now.
