Funny how everything in life is relative (aren't we really all one big family!?); when I lived in Myrtle Beach, SC in my other life, thousands of Canadians would inundate our seaside community every year the end of March for CanAm Days. We'd kick off a week of activities dedicated to our northern neighbors with a parade to celebrate their arrival and their deep pockets.
Temperatures would sometimes climb into the 60’s in late March, early April (this was before global warming). We locals braved the cold, wondering when spring would finally pop the crocuses while chuckling at the absurdity of all those Canadians wearing shorts and swimming in the frigid waters of the Atlantic.
Now I understand! Sixty would be divine right about now. And winter has really only just begun.
I do have some divine Fun Fotos for you today. You’ll be warmed with chuckles as you peruse the usual selection. I actually have a few extra just to combat the cold, whatever your version of chilly may be. Stay warm!
Oh! Don't forget; Downton Abbey's season 3 premiers Sunday evening on PBS. I say, it will be frightfully fun hobnobbing with the lords and ladies of England again. Just dashing!
