I was in my history class in junior high school when the news arrived via the public address system. The principal announced President Kennedy had been assassinated, shot and killed while riding in a motorcade in Dallas, Texas.
The rest was a blur. I do remember my teacher being visibly shaken, although I can’t recall her name. I’ve admitted on more than one occasion that my recall is not the best when it comes to historical facts; those facts include history teachers.
That moment more than any other opened my eyes to the world at large. Who knew in fifty years our world would become a global village.
But enough of my ramblings. You’re here for some Fun Fotos on this memorable Friday and I'm here to deliver said photos to our global village.
